These licences are made on voluntary basis.
Without the necessary certificates several watersports stations do not rent out boats or windsurfingboards .
The advantages of these proofs are in fact, that for theoretical and practical examination basic knowledge has to be learned. This makes watersports safer.
Catamaran - instructor
"catamaran - instructor" are good.
There is unfortunately still no nationally recognized training for sailing teacher in Germany.
VDWS, VDS/DSV and WWS offer own training courses with the conclusion "Catamaran - teacher". They obtain also practical training and working premises.
Under certain conditions the labour office in Germany promotes training for watersports - teachers.
